Boy Scouts

I am also active in the Tidewater Council of the Boy Scouts of America, which is the local Boy Scout Council representing Southeast Virginia and Northeast North Carolina. For some reason, people now-a-days think that Scouting has faded away. They seem to think that it is unpopular or nearly nonexistent. Those people are wrong. Tidewater Council serves thousands of local youth. I have been in Scouting since the first grade and it has been the best experience of my life. I would not be who I am today without Boy Scouts. One of the most important aspects of Boy Scouts is Summer Camp. Tidewater Council operated Pipsico Scout Reservation in Surry County on the James River. I urge everyone to support this important cause.

If you would like to support us with a monetary donation, please send cash or check to the address below. Please make checks payable to Tidewater Council, BSA. If you cannot send money, please contact the Tidewater Council to see if there is anything that you can offer that would be of service.
